2025 3rd-Party North Dakota State University In-Furrow Potato Trial
In the 2025 NDSU potato trial, 8-24-0+ PFM starter program consistently outperformed the untreated grower standard in marketable yield while using just 6 gallons per acre.
Across varieties, Dakota Skarlagen delivered a 13 cwt/acre lift, a 6.5% increase, Dakota Gold delivered a 27 cwt/acre lift, a 12.2% increase, and Red Norland delivered a 20 cwt/acre lift, an 11.6% increase.

The 2019 Russet Burbank third-party potato trial proved that Free Phos 24 delivered exceptional yield and profitability compared to traditional phosphorus sources. Even at lower application rates, Free Phos 24 outperformed competitors, producing higher total and marketable yields with the greatest return per acre.
